Hi I'm Lauran! 

a little about me

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband since 2020, and we have two beautiful daughters, born in June 2022 and March 2025, who fill our home with laughter, chaos, and joy. I’m passionate about motherhood, Jesus, birth work, and photography. I stay home with my girls, fully knowing that I am completely replaceable everywhere else but here. You will probably find me outside, hiking, or soaking up every drop of sunshine the Pacific Northwest allows. I’m always down for a good coffee date and a deep dive into birth stories. You might even spot me at the playground, I’m the mom talking birth while pushing a swing.

I have the absolute honor of walking alongside women as a doula and birth photographer, watching them step into the beautiful work of bringing life into the world. I believe God made our bodies to birth, and I believe in the deep, powerful surrender that birth invites. Surrender to Him, to our bodies, and to the process. Birth is sacred, raw, and beautiful, much like motherhood itself. I’m here to offer support, encouragement, and a whole lot of 'you’ve got this' energy, whether it’s your first baby or your fifth. Bonus: I come with a solid sense of humor, a stash of birthy fun facts, and probably a snack or two.

My Doula Journey
My passion for birth started during my own journey into motherhood. When I discovered I was pregnant, my whole world changed. From that moment forward, I made it my goal to learn every little thing I could about pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and how to care for my baby.

During my birth, I was covered in prayer and encouragement from my husband. He was my biggest supporter and reminded me that I could rely on God's strength. It was truly a beautiful time filled with worship, where I felt God so tangibly near to me. It was empowering, and I felt like I could take on the world!

Witnessing the transformative power of birth firsthand inspired me to become a doula. I am dedicated to helping mothers feel empowered, knowledgeable, and prepared for their own unique birthing experiences.
